MDT Bottom Metal Pillar Kit

MDT Bottom Metal Pillar Kit provides a solid metal base for the action screws when you fit an MDT CORE or Hunting Bottom Metal to a stock that does not have a built-in micro-chassis or bedding block.

Without pillars, tightening the action screws compresses the stock material, so screw tension and the fit between action and bottom metal can change over time. Pillars take that load instead, keeping the action screw torque consistent and the action and bottom metal properly aligned.

Choose the kit for your action: Remington 700 SA, Remington 700 LA CIP 3.850″, Tikka T3/T3x SA, Savage SA or Howa 1500 SA / Weatherby Vanguard SA.
