MDT 300 WSM / 6.5 PRC Metal AICS Magazine (7 Round)

MDT 300 WSM / 6.5 PRC Metal AICS Magazine (7 Round) is a 7-round AICS-pattern magazine for 300 WSM, 6.5 PRC, 270 WSM and 7 SAUM. MDT makes it from high-strength steel, nitrides it and then finishes it inside and out with Cerakote Elite, giving it excellent corrosion resistance and a slick internal surface so the follower runs smoothly.

Short magnums such as the 300 WSM and 6.5 PRC need more room than a standard short-action magazine allows, so this magazine has no front binder plate and takes cartridges up to 2.955″ overall. Seven rounds gives you plenty on board for range work and longer strings.

Magazine well: Short-action AICS pattern. Fits AICS-pattern short-action chassis and bottom metals, including all MDT short-action chassis and stocks.

Max cartridge overall length (COAL): 2.955″

MDT bottom metal: MDT CORE, Hunting and Precision Bottom Metal (short-action versions). Not the CORE Bottom Metal for Howa 1500 / Weatherby Vanguard, which takes polymer magazines only.

Please note:

• No binder plate: most common factory actions need the bottom of the feed ramp notched. Remington 700-footprint actions and clones are often already cut for this, but confirm with your action’s manufacturer.
