MDT CORE Bottom Metal
MDT CORE Bottom Metal converts a rifle stock to take AICS-pattern detachable box magazines, so you can run whichever capacity suits the job, from a compact 3-round hunting magazine to a 12-round magazine on the range. It is machined from 6061 aluminium, anodised, and weighs about 136 g.
The magazine release is ambidextrous, so left- and right-handed shooters can change magazines just as easily, and the trigger guard is wide enough for both factory and aftermarket triggers. For fine-tuning how the magazine seats, the CORE works with MDT’s Adjustable Magazine Latch.
MDT makes the CORE for the Remington 700 (short action and CIP long action), Tikka T3/T3x (short and long action), Savage 110 short action, Howa 1500 / Weatherby Vanguard short action and Ruger American short action. Choose your action from the list above. If your stock does not have a micro-chassis or bedding block, you will need the MDT Bottom Metal Pillar Kit as well.
