AKRA Precision Optics IconAKRA GENESIS 4-16×44 FFP MRAD

GENESIS Series – Lightweight precision for hunters and rimfire competitors.

The AKRA GENESIS range pairs ED glass with zero stop turrets and practical reticles in compact, lightweight scopes that suit everything from bushveld hunting to NRL 22 matches.

RECOMMENDED USES
HUNTING         PRECISION SHOOTING
DESCRIPTION

The GENESIS 4-16×44 FFP MRAD keeps weight and bulk down without giving up the features precision shooters rely on. Its first focal plane GEN001 reticle scales with magnification, so every 0.5 MRAD hashmark holds its true value whether you are on 4x for a quick shot in thick cover or on 16x for a small target at distance.

ED glass elements and fully multi-coated lenses give a sharp, colour-true image with good low-light performance from the 44mm objective. Zero stop turrets with 0.1 MRAD clicks make dialling for range repeatable, and you can always return straight to your zero.

It is a natural partner for a .22 LR trainer, a 6.5 Creedmoor plains rifle or a .308 hunting rifle, and it ships with 30mm medium Picatinny rings, so it is ready to mount out of the box.

KEY FEATURES
  • 4-16x magnification: covers close bush shots through to mid-range precision.
  • First focal plane MRAD reticle: GEN001 subtensions stay accurate at every magnification.
  • ED glass: sharper detail and truer colour, with fully multi-coated lenses.
  • Zero stop turrets: 0.1 MRAD clicks with a fast, repeatable return to zero.
  • Illuminated reticle: red illumination powered by a CR2032 battery.
  • Tough aluminium body: aircraft-grade aluminium, shockproof to 10,000 g over 20,000 impacts.
  • Weatherproof: IPX7 waterproof and fogproof from -20 °C to +50 °C.

AKRA GENESIS 4-16×44 FFP MRAD – GEN001 Reticle Subtensions

The GEN001 is a clean, minimalist MRAD reticle built around a floating centre dot for precise aiming.

Hashmarks every 0.5 MRAD on both the elevation and windage stadia give clear reference points for holdovers and wind calls without cluttering the sight picture, and because it sits in the first focal plane those values hold true at every magnification.
