MDT .308 / 6.5 Creedmoor Polymer AICS Magazine (5 Round)

MDT .308 / 6.5 Creedmoor Polymer AICS Magazine (5 Round) is a 5-round detachable box magazine for .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor family rifles fitted with a short-action AICS-pattern bottom metal or chassis. It is moulded from glass-filled nylon, which keeps it light, makes it quiet going into the magazine well and means it never gets painfully hot or cold to handle, whatever the weather.

Five rounds in a compact body only 3.25″ tall gives a hunting rifle a tidy profile for carrying, while still leaving enough on board for follow-up shots.

The polymer has a high glass content for strength, and the magazine uses a tempered steel spring. MDT tests these magazines hard, to the point of driving cars and trucks over them, and the floor plate comes off for cleaning and maintenance.

COMPATIBILITY

Cartridges: 308 Winchester / 7.62 x 51, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6mm Creedmoor, 243 Winchester, 260 Remington, 7mm-08 Remington and 6 XC; 22-250 Remington at reduced capacity

Magazine well: Short-action AICS pattern. Fits AICS-pattern short-action chassis and bottom metals, including all MDT short-action chassis and stocks.

Max cartridge overall length (COAL): 2.850″

MDT bottom metal: MDT CORE, Hunting and Precision Bottom Metal (short-action versions).

Please note:

• Not recommended for 300 WSM: use a metal magazine, as the feed lips need adjusting for that cartridge.
• Not ideal in chassis with large magazine wells such as the MDT ACC Elite or ACC Premier Gen 2; the 5-round metal magazine or a higher-capacity polymer magazine fits these better.
• Does not fit Winchester XPC inlets, and may need fitting in a Winchester Model 70.
