SILENCED is a chemical compound developed to deep-clean rifle and sidearm suppressors and muzzle brakes.

SILENCED is specially engineered to lift carbon and other residues from metal surfaces and keep it in suspension while the special chemical surfactant blend goes to work on the rinsing and neutralising of residual fouling.

Our technology enables the cleaner to penetrate small spaces and crevices to remove fouling and loosen stubborn deposits that hamper equipment functionality.

SILENCED is safe for use on various metal and coated surfaces but anodized surfaces should be avoided.

SILENCED was developed to silence your problem without cleaning out your pocket.

Designed to aid in the removal of

SOOT CARBON RESIDUE

COMPATIBILITY:

Silencers and muzzle brakes (Non-anodized).

Stainless steel muzzle brakes.

Shotgun Chokes

  • Engineered to suspend solids found in silencers. Technology allows for liquid to be used up to 3 times. SILENCED has a penetrating caracteristic that helps loosen tight threads.
  • Do not fire a round with the product inside the silencer. Make sure that the silencer is dry before use.
  • Not suitable for anodised surfaces when exposed for indefinite time periods.
  • Cerakote safe.
  • Not for human or animal consumption.
  • Always test the product on barrels and coatings before application.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Acetone Free
  • Ammonia Free
  • Biodegradable

SECURE AND UNLOAD THE FIREARM

REMOVE THE SUPPRESSOR OR MUZZLE BRAKE FROM THE FIREARM.

CLEANING:

  • Make use of an appropriate rubber/silicone plug to plug the suppressor tip and fill it with SILENCED. DO NOT use prestick or sellotape/rubber based tapes/duck tape as SILENCED will soften the glue and loosten the tape which may cause discoloration on the outside of the supressor- especially with ANODIZED equipment.
  • NON-ANODIZED disassembled suppressors, muzzle brakes, shotgun chokes and equipment can be submerged in SILENCED.
  • Equipment can be exposed to SILENCED for up to 4-8 hours.
  • For excessively fouled suppressors and muzzle brakes, you can leave the cleaner in contact for an extended time (min 8 hours).
  • SILENCED can be heated to a max of 40 Degrees Celsius to elevate reaction time.
  • Stubborn dirt might require light, non-abrasive scrubbing with a soft bristle brush or clean toothbrush/soft gun brush for optimal results.
  • Remove liquid from the suppressor, and use a coffee filter/sieve to filter off large carbon pieces and reclaim the cleaner for another future cycle.
  • SILENCED is engineered to clean up to three supressors making use of the same liquid. (The amount of cleaning cycles for the liquid depends on the cleaning frequency and the extent of the fouling on your equipment.)
  • If the liquid is spent replace it with a fresh batch.

REMOVING RESIDUE FROM SUPPRESSOR:

  • Fill the supressor halfway with clean warm tap water and shake the supressor.
  • Rinse repeatedly until no residue is visible in the drained water.
  • Use a soft bristle brush or clean toothbrush to brush in between caps and or baffles.
  • Disassembled parts can be wiped clean using a lint free  or micro fibre cloth or paper towel to remove all carbon deposits that are present on the equipment.
  • Ensure that the equipment is completely and properly dried before use.

NOTE:

Polymer, plastic and anodized parts should only be subjected to ultrasonic cleaning, using this solvent, for 3-5 minutes at a time. Check coatings to ensure safety throughout use.

Ultrasonic tanks must be thoroughly cleaned before use if tank was used for case cleaning prior to use on parts. This will avoid brass particle coating from adhering to equipment surfaces.

Q: Will this product damage my silencer?

A: It needs to be made clear that the directions should be followed and exposure time should always be as per directions. This product passed numerous tests on both anodised and Cerakote silencers. Avoid using the product on anodised silencer when not adhering to the directions.

Q: Does the cleaner change colour when inside my silencer?

A: Yes, the cleaner has a color changing ability that allows for indication to the user that the product indeed reacted with the particles and elements present inside the silencer. You might experience anything from green or blue depending on the type of ammunition used. If it is black it is even better. Black shows a very dirty silencer.

Q: Can I use SILENCED more than once?

A: Yes, the cleaner was developed with a chemical suspension ability and will suspend particles in the solution with limited settling. You will be able to use the cleaner for up to 3 times before you need to replace it. For very dirty equipment it might be spent quicker but with routine cleaning it will hold out for longer.

Q: Can I heat SILENCED when using the cleaner?

A: Yes, the cleaner can be heated to 40C for optimal results.
