Refund policy

Returns

Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, items must be unused and in the original condition as received, including all original packaging. Certain goods are not eligible for return, including hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, which includes complimentary courier service on orders exceeding R3,000. The fee incurred by us from the courier company will be deducted from your refund prior to the issuance of credit.

If an incorrect item is ordered, all related courier fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

Items being returned must be securely packaged using bubble wrap or similar protective materials. Failure to comply will result in a 20% handling fee.

Additional non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products

A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process your return.

Please refrain from sending purchases back to the manufacturer unless specifically instructed by our team.

Partial refunds may be granted under the following circumstances (if applicable):

  • Items show evident signs of use or have been opened
  • Items are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts due to reasons other than our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Upon receipt and inspection of your returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed, and funds will be electronically transferred (EFT) to a bank account registered in your name only. No exceptions will be made.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

Should you not receive your refund, please verify your bank account once more. Subsequently, contact your bank, as processing times may vary. If the issue persists, contact us at orders@valleypursuits.co.za.

Sale Items (if applicable)

Sale items will be refunded at the original / sale price.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We replace items solely if they are defective or damaged. To arrange for an exchange of the same item, please email orders@valleypursuits.co.za for a return address specific to your item.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and sent directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equivalent to the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be issued via mail or email.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or was shipped to the gift giver, any refund will be sent to the gift giver, who will be informed of your return.

Shipping

To initiate a return, please contact orders@valleypursuits.co.za to obtain the return address.

Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable; for approved refunds, the return shipping cost will be deducted.

Delivery times for exchanged products may vary based on location.

For valuable shipments, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
