TREATS AND REMOVES:

Designed to aid the removal of fouling associated with rimfire ammunition

SECURE AND UNLOAD THE FIREARM

  1. Wet 3 patches with RIMFIRE BORE CLEANER and push through the barrel.
  2. Run patches slowly to give solvent time to react with the bore surface.
  3. Run 10 passes through using a brush soaked in RIMFIRE BORE CLEANER.
  4. Wet another 3 patches with RIMFIRE BORE CLEANER, run through, then leave the product in the bore for 3-5 min.
  5. Extend the time for extreme fouling.
  6. Continuously run dry patches through until the patches gather no residue at the barrel tip.
  7. Before storing your firearm, push a patch dampened with VELDT GUN OIL through the bore as this will prevent rust and dust from settling on your firearm.
  8. Always run a clean, dry patch through the firearm before use to prevent any obstruction.

  • Q: Will the solvent damage my gun barrel?

    A: This formulation will not damage the barrel of your rifle and is considered barrel-safe. Stick to the given directions and avoid letting the solvent sit in the barrel for undisclosed lengths of time.

    Q: How long can I leave this solvent in my barrel?

    A: This formulation will not damage the barrel of your gun. Stick to the given directions and avoid letting the solvent sit in the barrel for more than 24-hour periods.

    Q: Will this solvent damage my gun finish?

    A: This formulation is not intended to be used on stocks and finishes. It is always wise to wipe off residual spillage on the stock or finish immediately after you witness the spill.

    Q: Will this product dissolve lead?

    A: As stated in the description, the product is aiding in the removal of lead. It will help you to remove lead but will not serve as a miracle solvent to dissolve lead. Chemicals that dissolve lead will also dissolve your barrel.

    Q: I still see lines in my barrel after exposing my barrel to the solvent.

    A: No chemical can be used as a miracle cure for marking inside the barrel of a gun. Make sure you thoroughly scrub the barrel to remove any additional fouling that is still visible. Also ensure that the barrel is not damaged, if so refer to your nearest gunsmith for assistance.
