MDT 30-06 / 6.5×55 Swede / 6.5-284 Metal Medium Action Magazine (10 Round)

MDT 30-06 / 6.5×55 Swede / 6.5-284 Metal Medium Action Magazine (10 Round) is a 10-round metal magazine for medium-length actions, for 30-06 Springfield, 6.5×55 Swedish Mauser and 6.5-284 Norma. MED sits between short and long action: the magazine is 3.330″ long on the outside and takes cartridges up to 3.240″ overall, which suits long short-action cartridges that will not fit a short-action magazine, and shorter long-action cartridges that can feed poorly from a full-length long-action magazine.

It needs a medium (MED), XM or XM+ chassis or bottom metal. MDT does not make a medium-length bottom metal, so in practice these magazines are for MDT medium chassis and other MED/XM-compatible systems.

The 10-round capacity makes it a good match for range and competition rifles built on a medium action, giving you a full string without changing magazines.

• For medium (MED), XM and XM+ chassis and bottom metals
