MDT 300 WSM / 6.5 PRC Metal Medium Action Magazine (5 Round)

MDT 300 WSM / 6.5 PRC Metal Medium Action Magazine (5 Round) is a 5-round metal magazine for medium-length actions, for 300 WSM, 6.5 PRC, 270 WSM, 7mm WSM and 325 WSM. MED sits between short and long action: the magazine is 3.330″ long on the outside and takes cartridges up to 3.240″ overall, which suits long short-action cartridges that will not fit a short-action magazine, and shorter long-action cartridges that can feed poorly from a full-length long-action magazine.

It needs a medium (MED), XM or XM+ chassis or bottom metal. MDT does not make a medium-length bottom metal, so in practice these magazines are for MDT medium chassis and other MED/XM-compatible systems.

Like MDT’s other metal magazines it is made from nitrided steel with a Cerakote Elite finish for durability, corrosion resistance and a smooth-running follower. MDT’s Double Stack Single Feed layout keeps it short, the feed lips can be adjusted for reliable feeding, and the floor plate comes off for cleaning.
